The ELITE BREED was a very controversial breed when it first came to be. If you have googled "Ashera Cat" to any depth there will be claims that "it is just a Savannah Cat" or "They Are Not Real." 

 This is OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE when you know the facts!

Our Ashera Cats have a countable percentage of each of the African Serval & Leopard Cat. (Such As Our Own Productions Above) Their pedigree/Linage would prove that no more than 5 or less generations back a Leopard Cat and Serval Cat is at the Top.

Savannah Cats Are A Cross Between An African Serval and Domestic Cat. To Become a Pure Bred Savannah Cat Clear of less than 1 percent of Serval Cat takes 7 Generations. (Assuming the 1st generation was 50%)

Bengal Cats Are A Cross Between An Asian Leopard Cat and Domestic Cat. To Become a Pure Bred Bengal Cat Clear of less than 1 percent of Leopard Cat takes 7 Generations. (Assuming the 1st generation  was 50%)

Here is where it gets tricky for some...

 

Domestic Bengals That many generations away from the ALC are discretely and occasionally used in some Savannah Cat programs. NO Real Percent of ALC would be found in a pure bred Savannah Cat. This is because most SV breeders use normal domestic Bengals. Normally this is down in attempt to clear up the coats of the Savannah Cat. If you study photos of different savannah cat you will see at times the Bengal Rosettes 

showing or the "glitter" will be apparent even the color of a Bengal.
